We've got a good nucleus coming back. That's the lifeblood of any program --being able to get good players and make your team better through the recruiting process. That's our challenge.

We have a good nucleus of players who have been here, ... and they understand what we are all about, what we are trying to accomplish. And that is the strength of the football team.

Recruiting is the lifeblood of any program, so you can't put anything above that, ... But it wouldn't matter who you had here if you didn't have the right mental attitude and work ethic. You need all those elements to come together to do something like we are doing.

We like our nucleus, the core of young players we have. We'd like to build something here. We want to be in position to add in the future, when the ages of unrestricted free agency goes down.

We have three coming back as the nucleus and core of the team.

We're looking kind of young. The good thing is we're putting a nice nucleus together for coming years. We've got some nice talent down at the younger levels, too.
