Second-guessing is as bad for the criminal justice system as it is for football games. I have a real problem with having a case that was investigated 31 years ago and found to be an accident and then reinvestigated 30-plus years later when everything is destroyed and it's found to be a murder.

Something always happens that you don't expect in these games, ... They're exciting, they're good to have and they're what football is all about. You always get excited for these games, and this year is no different.

Are we where we need to be to win football games? I don't think so. But I think we're going in the right direction and think that's what spring is all about.

I really don't notice it that much. Football games are awesome, but when I'm on the mound I have to concentrate on the batter. I try to use that in football, too.
