We've had a lot of success and wrestling means a lot to the school and the Woodruff community. And Daniel has been a big part of that.

We had known him and had some contact with him down through the years, so we were able to cut to the chase and spend a lot of time with him for the last five days or so. We feel very fortunate that we were able to lure him.

If there is anyone who can wake up that sleeping giant, it's Chad Singleton. It's a loss for us.

Due to the numbers we have everybody practicing together and look to have a city school wrestling club. It seems to have worked out with everybody having a great meet in Port Alberni.

Max is an anomaly in that this is only his second year wrestling in high school and he's improved by leaps and bounds. His learning curve has been very sharp, and he's become someone who we count on to win for us. He's a wrestler that not too many people know about, so we're hoping he will continue to surprise his opponents in the future.

It was another great high school wrestling match. If you can't get excited about what happened on Saturday and tonight, you can't get excited.
