We've had a pretty good power play all year until recently. We've struggled, and it's found us. Our penalty killing has not been great all year, so we've really needed our power play to come through.

We played a pretty polished game. Our power play got us a lead and helped us beat a very talented team.

That's a problem, too. We've been having injuries all year. That's been killing us. We're having to play freshmen.

Hitting has been killing us this season. We play good defense, but we just can't seem to bring any runs in.

We had a bunch of chances. You look at the names on our power play, and we should have two or three goals off that each night. Goalies can stop the puck if they are able to see it, and we didn't do a good job of that. We had a bunch of shots there at the end, and they just weren't going in.

We played them pretty even for most of the game. But our power play struggled, and that threw a lot of momentum off because it was all special teams early.
