We've needed somebody else to be a scoring threat on the perimeter, besides Crystal (Smith) and Kristi (Smith). We've seen glimpses of what Wendy's capable of doing all through the year. It makes us feel great that she's now letting the Big Ten see it.

This is just what Wendy needed because we've seen glimpses of this. Maybe this is just what the doctor ordered to put her over the edge.

It doesn't help the cause. We needed scoring.

I needed to become something besides the star everybody had built me up to be.

I did a lot of other things besides scoring the basketball. I got my guys a lot of open looks. I played good defense. I think I had a good all around game, but I attribute a lot of my game to my teammates. The way they pushed me and motivated me to keep playing hard.

It's not just about scoring. I was out there passing the ball and getting steals, doing other things besides scoring.
