We've played some tough, close games lately and when teams make a run at us, we tend to get down on ourselves. I wanted us to focus, reach within ourselves and fight for the win.

Every game we win is a surprise for us. But we're just proud winning games for the curling.

This was a great road win for us. I thought it was one of the better games we've played all year. Offensively we executed and passed better than we have all year; our post players did a nice job of getting open and our guards did a great job of getting them the ball.

We can still get into the upper half of the conference, and if seniors want to leave their mark, that would be the way to do it.

Every team we've played the second time, we've played them better. You look at the shooting percentage; it's not even close.

I had a broom that I'd raise high in the air and the kids practiced shooting over the broom. I think it helped, because we weren't intimidated.
