What I am looking for is not out there, it is in me.

Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the senses shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourses of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness.

If I have to, I can do anything. I am strong, I am invincible, I am Woman.

What I am looking for is a blessing not in disguise.

'Shortcomings' was me figuring out who I am.

I shall be found with 'Indians' engraved on my brain when I am dead. A fire has been kindled within me, which will never go out.
