What I liked about our kids is we came out and we played with courage. That's really all you can ask of them -- to play with pride. It's the experience part. We only have a couple seniors. We're getting experience each game and once we get more experience we're going to pick it up.

We wanted to highlight 'in the Red Zone' to reward kids for working hard and having the courage for strength where it counts — at the point of sweat.

Courage takes many forms. There is physical courage, there is moral courage. Then there is a still higher type of courage--the courage to brave pain, to live with it, to never let others know of it and to still find joy in life; to wake up in the morning with an enthusiasm for the day ahead.

It was a great meet, but we had some situations where we had some kids injured that we didn't know about until that day. But we had kids step up. A lot of times, you look at that as an excuse, but we picked it up. I think we matured as a team.

We're going to have to spray bleach or something. And I am going to take my kids and get their shots.

Overall, I've been pleased after our two scrimmages. We've just got to get some depth so these kids can get a breather. But I think the kids are doing fine. We just want to get better each game.
