What if Tonya Harding were admitted back in U.S. figure skating?

I think historically he's done a lot to help the sport grow, and I can see how there might be a movement among colleagues and clients to get him reinstated. But I think the USEF would be sending a terrible, terrible signal to young people in the sport today if he was readmitted.

I grew up with an idealized version of the sport, that people do it because they love horses. I guess that's just a romantic illusion.
