A lot of people will relocate here. They're not going back.

We're looking at sheltering and feeding people for three months, ... Consequently, we will need volunteers for not only a few days or weeks, but long term. We have hundreds of deaths and thousands homeless. It's just an overwhelming situation.

Some of these people are not going home. We have a number from New Orleans who lived in the Ninth Ward, and know they have nothing to go home to. Some have found jobs in our area and are looking for jobs. They're doing all the things they need to be doing to be part of our culture.

They've opened their hearts to these people, and we've got to replenish them.

The can also think of someone that person would call if they could only make one phone call, then check with that person to see if they have heard from their loved ones,
