What we are seeing is more than a summer phenomenon but a worsening of investor sentiment. People are continuing to be quite concerned about the state of economy and the markets. This is causing them to hold back their investing activity.

I don't think we're anticipating any changes in physical presence.

Our U.S. Trust subsidiary in midtown Manhattan has been evacuated. Our other major operation on the East Coast is our capital-trading and market-making activity in Jersey City. They have not been affected, but then again, the market is closed. We are just going to wait to see how things develop.

We're always amazed at how often people say when they are offered a buyout that they always wanted to do something else with their lives but never really had a reason to do it. It's like they are being given permission to do what they always wanted to do.
