When I came down on the sideline, there is no way I would have felt comfortable doing that if I didn't have a guy like Brian up in the booth.

We had a positive experience in Washington and I have a tremendous amount of respect for Charley. The one thing that I know is critical to not only our success as an organization but to my success as a head coach is the person that oversees the personnel. There's not any coach in this league that can overcome certain personnel deficiencies.

The New York Jets have gotten themselves one heck of a football coach. We will surely miss him. He's extremely detailed in everything he does. He's an extremely hard worker. A lot of people don't know a lot about him, but they will pretty soon.
