When I look back at the pictures of our blended family the day Vince and I married, he and I are smiling, and all the children are frowning.

Thanksgiving Day is a good day to recommit our energies to giving thanks and just giving.

I choose to live in Nashville because my whole family is there. I couldn't re-engage with the ever-changing face of the company, so I'm not begrudging any of that. Life goes by really fast, and it seems that there are times when you're burying a lot of friends and family. And then there are times that feel really precious and everybody is doing okay. This is one of those times.
