When I saw what the hurricane did to those people, I thought about everything I've ever taught to my students about making a difference ..., and I said to myself I have to rise up and do what I can to help out.

And we would do whatever kind of enrichment activities we could.

We want the students that are attending to drive the discussion; we want them to bring it to the forefront.

We want to see how students are feeling and get tangible steps they'd like to see taken. We want to address from a student perspective what's going on that is not being addressed.
