When I started in the late nineties, it was all about young Hollywood. There were jobs for all of us if you were 18 to 21, were slightly good looking, or could be funny.

There were times that I thought I was good looking.

No, I'm not good looking.

I'm not that good looking.

It's hard to lead a cavalry charge if you think you look funny on a horse.

I think there's something in the fact that it's hard to be good looking and funny. You have to have an oddball quality; people have to sympathise with you to find you funny.
