When many of the schools in the school district were first built, they were not done with the highest quality materials or systems.

We're going to open the schools. We're hoping to reopen sometime this school year, but we're not sure if it will be this semester.

Schools are required to practice twice a year. This school has practiced. They knew the procedures.

Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades; they'll give you as many chances as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHIN

We know that kids with quality early learning opportunities are more likely to graduate from high school, more likely to graduate from college, and more likely to earn higher income. And we know for every one dollar we invest in early education, we save seven dollars down the line in welfare, special education, and criminal justice costs. Our children deserve the chance for an early start on success.

It's important for the schools to make sure they new hires are of the quality they want. It's one more thing we can do to make parents feel safe leaving their children with these teachers.
