When negotiations start we are hoping that we can find something that would benefit [Union Pacific] so we can have something mutually beneficial. We have a good relationship with Union Pacific so we're hoping to build on that relationship as we move into negotiation.

Negotiations are now going on with the companies, hoping they can voluntarily give up their activities before 2020.

That would leave the other one to merge with Union Pacific.

When the ball doesn't go in the basket, you start hoping you can get out of town under the cloak of darkness. Confidence has dwindled here. We'll see whether the second half against La Salle has energized and picked up their emotional level. We've put ourselves in a precarious situation in terms of the league.

I'll start some games, and I'll caddy for A-Rod, too. When I get in there, I want to make the most of my opportunities.
