When people have lost a child, knowing somebody else has been where they are now and knows how dark the world can look can help them know they are not alone.

A big and disappointing loss to close out a tough week. This is always a game I personally look forward to, having graduated from and having played for A-B. We out-hit them by a 9-5 margin, but left 11 runners on base. We left the tying run on in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh innings.

Ultimately, our defense let us down the entire week, and we were unable to generate a lot of offense or come up with clutch hits.

This was a good win for us, even though our bats cooled off significantly. We failed to make some adjustments until late in the game, but we wanted to go into the vacation week at 3-0, and we accomplished that goal.

Peter was a giver. He was always trying to put me in a good position - and set up the interview that got me a teaching job in Andover in the same department he worked in.

I think the average person, unfortunately, sees the result and they attribute that to the present administration, as if they purchased the buildings themselves.
