When people write about what college football is all about they should write about Michael Robinson. He's everything that's good about the game.

Shayne is trying to decide where he's going to play college football, and rather than have him miss three weekends in a row visiting colleges, we worked out that he'd miss this week.

We're certainly in position to be a good defensive football team, ... Offensively, we have to be better. We have to make big plays.

The debate has really died down in college football among the people who matter.

The only thing I have control over, ... is to try to get our football team to play as well as it can play, and have them realize they are playing against a team which has talent, coaching and tradition. And we are on the road before 110,000 people. Unless you're stupid, you've got to understand that.

Here, I have an opportunity to affect the lives of a lot of young people - and not just on my football team. I'm not kidding myself that that would be true at the professional level.
