When she finally made the decision -- I want to be a basketball player and I want to be as good as I can be -- that's when she really started to develop.

It wasn't an easy decision. There's so many things going on during the recruiting process that basketball could be affected. It's just a lot of pressure off of me, and now that's it's over, I can just focus.

It shows that when you play team basketball, anything can happen. And (Flanagan) played team basketball.

Basketball is made to be fun. If you're not having fun, you're not going to perform. We made sure we had fun and came out with a great big victory.

She's physically strong on the inside. Her younger years of high school she was just immature. The seriousness [toward basketball] wasn't there yet. This year, she is finally realizing how much her team relies on her and what her capabilities are. She's really focused this year and has worked really hard on her own game to help the rest of her team.

It's purely a strategic decision that we want to make going forward to reshape our business so that we can allot resources to focus on growth.
