When teachers get together they can trade ideas, blow off steam and generally get better connected with the school. As a result, students get better, more enthusiastic teachers.

Skip is one of my mentors. I get a lot of my ideas from other teachers, so I have lots of teachers to thank. The thing about teaching is, I constantly get to learn.

We still have areas with growth, so if we have surplus teachers we could send them there.

The trip to Yellowstone was an excellent experience. The teachers gathered and basically shared a think tank filled with ideas about our experiments with climate and how we can incorporate our experience into our own school districts and help make them better.

I was always the kid in school that teachers were getting after to be quiet. My report card had math, A, reading, A, spelling, A, science, A, conduct, F. I was always talking to somebody. They would always take me and put me over in a corner by myself.

My English teacher has no face. She has uncombed stringy hair that droops on her shoulders. The hair is black from her part to her ears and then neon orange to the frizzy ends. I can't decide if she had pissed off her hairdresser or is morphing into a monarch butterfly. I call her Hairwoman.
