When we execute and play defense, we're capable of playing with anybody.

Everybody on the defense has that one play where if they could have gotten it back ...

That's what happens when you play the No. 1 (defense) in the nation. It was tough out there, and we just didn't get it done.

We were in position at the right time on defense but I don't think we always made that key play. We knew their backs were fast, and they certainly showed it.

We hadn't played for a while. We got off to a slow start but our defense created some turnovers in the second quarter. We threw some different defenses at them in the second half and their guards didn't respond very well.

They started serving a lot tougher. We fought hard, but it's hard to play defense when you have no block up.
