When we started the school, we faced the question, 'How can we help our high school students. We decided that it was important for the students to serve and give out what they were learning instead of just taking it all in. Our mission trips are an important component to our school.

It's going to help make the students feel more connected to the school.

There are a lot of untied ends so far, but we want to get these students into school, in a stable environment, as soon as possible. We want these students to be in an environment where they will be cared for - that will help them rebuild their lives and give them a sense that they are moving on.

It will help students, alumnae and the public will gain a greater appreciation of our tremendous collection.

The focus is to help students feel connected to school, develop leadership skills, foster personal well-being and make new friends by learning more about other cultures and customs.

Our students, from the first year of medical school, look for ways in which they can help provide community service, so many of them are already working at homeless shelters or clinics for the disadvantaged. This just brings it closer.
