When you don't shoot well, it magnifies any defensive flaw.

I think we had a better percentage from the arc than we did inside the lane. We felt like we were good perimeter shooters, but we haven't demonstrated that ability all the time. But, when the defense gets extended, we have to be able to convert in the lane so other teams at least have to honor that.

There was that 3-4 minute period where we had opportunities inside and missed great looks and couldn't finish. We needed an answer at that point.

Every time I shoot, I tell myself they're all good. When I got a good look I had to put it up.

When you shoot well, you can hide a lot of deficiencies. I like the (3-pointer) as well as anyone, but we wanted to be a little more patient on offense in the second half.

It's like when I tell our defensive linemen when we're out there we need to get some grit. I think we'll have plenty of grit when we get out there this week.
