When you hear things about yourself that are laughable, it can make you jaded or bitter and make you upset and get you out of your personality and who you are,

Everybody can't be too upset when you're 5-1 and everybody's having a good year and Carson is spreading the ball around and everybody is getting catches and carries. It would be pretty selfish of you to be disappointed right now.

Billy wasn't in the lineup when we were at East Rowan Saturday, and he got a little upset with me. That's not a bad thing. He showed me tonight he really wants to be in there.

I was upset when I heard the news, but you can't be mad because I have a bunch of great guys in front of me on the receiving corps. I'm sitting back and observing to see how things are out there in the regular season. I did notice that (the pace) picked up a little bit from the preseason.

That makes it even better. Now when we upset them, it'll be a shock to everybody.

I didn't hear anybody booing me when I was done. A lot of people were giving me a standing ovation when I came off the floor.
