When you pray, rather let your heart be without words than your words without heart.

In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words with out a heart.

Pray often; for prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan

Prayer will make a man cease from sin, or sin will entice a man to cease from prayer

Words easy to be understood do often hit the mark; when high and learned ones do only pierce the air.

Remember when you pray to keep it real and don't always feel the need to pray the scriptures. They are great examples and allow us to see another's heart for God, yet God wants to hear from your heart all the more.
