When you're hosting a tournament, it's mentally and physically exhausting.

It's been a mentally and physically exhausting week.

Mentally and physically, this has been the most difficult, most exhausting, most frustrating season I've ever had. Being an Astro my whole career, I felt the same way about this team that a lot of people did, that this was the year we'd get through the playoffs and into a World Series. And I felt that I was letting the team and the city down.

When pitchers are pitching well, they're repeating well, physically and mentally. I don't know about the mental part of it, because I'm not in [Hudson's] head. But physically, he gets out of sync, and it takes him a few batters to get it back.

When you get physically intimidated in that way, mentally you kind of, like, crack. That's what I felt happened the first eight minutes. It sure seemed like they had more than five guys, and we had less than five out there at that time.
