When you're watching film and you see other tight ends doing well against them, you lick your chops a little bit.

I'm not a big slasher film fan.

You don't bring in a director like Mike Newell and tell him, 'Well, you've got to make a film just like Chris Columbus,' ... It'd be foolish. So for me, I look this film, I see Mike Newell. I mean, I see Jo Rowling, but I see Mike Newell written all over it and that's really exciting for me.

It's long, it's serious, and it's not a typical Spielberg film. It's more understated than we've come to expect from him, which I think will help it.

I'd like to do an independent film.
