Where we can do better is where they (UPS) do extremely well, with the small and medium customer.

We plan to continue to grow, so in the long run these are probably delays more than cancellations.

I can't control what OPEC charges, but we can control our costs. It's going to probably delay some things that we might have wanted to do that would benefit us in (fiscal year) 01 and 02, but we have to make some numbers.

Hurricane Katrina had no significant effect on first-quarter results, although the storm inflicted some damage to our facilities in the U.S. Gulf Coast region. Meanwhile, our operations have resumed in most of the affected areas except for sections of New Orleans.

This year's race showed that money, and lots of money, really matters. It was an unprecedented phenomenon that we will probably not see again.

But I think competition is good. I am very competitive, if no one has noticed. And I think that if we face off in the future, we'll have an opportunity to make a strong case to New Yorkers about our vision for the city. I hope and I expect that it will not diminish the good relationship we have.
