While I was growing up, all the boys used to be my buddies. I never got that special kind of attention from them, and I was the tomboy around. Although I've become an actress today, I still have those traits.

I was a super tomboy growing up.

I grew up kind of a tomboy and I used to fight with all the neighborhood boys.

Growing up, I was always prancing around and singing... and I just never really stopped.

I never even wanted to be an actress. I studied mass communication and wanted to study law in Newcastle, for which I even got a scholarship. But by then, I had started modelling. So, I took a year off to decide what to do. But once you are used to working, it's difficult to get back to studies.

Growing up, I never imagined I would be an actor.
