Who we are as human beings is terminal.

But more often than not the missing face has been sucked into the engines of the Nazi death machine, like an unlucky lapwing hitting the propeller of a Lancaster bomber-nothing left but feathers blowing away in the aircraft's wake, as if those warm wings and beating heart had never existed.

When something is the right thing for you to do some will call your action 'courage.' There is a good possibility you will likely call it 'being myself.'

Everything you get in your life experiences will be a foundation for everything else. You can't have a high rise with all of the floors that came before. Your building is being built every day, and every day something will be in process and something will be completed, and something will already begin to deteriorate. Just keep listening to that inner guide/feeling and you will build the perfect building for yourself.

The best you can be at any given moment is yourself.
