Who will want to teach the poor students, the students who don't speak English as well? ... This makes us vulnerable to the growing attacks by districts, school boards and our enemies.

We will be there – and no, it's not a problem.

What we are saying is we think he should have talked to us first (about changing education funding).

I believe we will stay together to fight for some real reform – education reform, health reform. I think the governor's unintended consequences brought together a group of people that isn't going to go away.

Having access to the very special home and gardens of Mr. Baker will provide opportunities for our students and faculty to have experiences that are rare for most universities. The gardens...provide unique opportunities that will enhance our students' learning, whether [they] are from horticulture, art, philosophy, the sciences, or many other areas for which Mr. Baker's gardens and home offer unique experiential opportunities.

That defense was pretty darn effective. Hopefully, we will mature and get stronger next season. That will enable us to do the things we need to do.
