Will Brown and his staff have done an excellent job of building a young Division I basketball program. The team accomplished many historical things this season. The foundation has been laid for the program to be successful for years to come, something that our students, alumni and fans can enjoy with great pride.

We were picked first, and Will reflected those expectations. So I was surprised he didn't win Coach of the Year.

We just played good team basketball. It was a game of two good teams playing hard.

This is a really good win. That's a conglomeration of really good basketball players over there.

We think that the time that he has spent building this program, at this point we've got to have some trust on each side. If a major major comes knocking at the door ... my philosophy is the first guy who calls (asking to discuss a job with) Will, we'll let him know that we've been contacted and if he says he wants to talk, then we allow him to. That's in the best interest of both sides.

Coach executed an almost flawless game plan.
