Wins and losses are not that important. For 14- to 15-year-olds, it's not if you win or lose, it's what you learn. Screaming at little kids doesn't make sense to me.

Every game matters. At the end of the year, this is what they do: They put the wins and losses up. Obviously, we're not going to make the playoffs, but I think the important thing is you get better. Hopefully, that's what we're trying to do.

If you can react the same way to winning and losing, that...quality is important because it stays with you the rest of your life.

There are not too many 22 year olds out there that have ever thrown that many innings in a year. At this point, we're looking out for his health, so we're throwing him every nine days instead of every four. We're skipping him every time for that reason.

Of course we want to win the tournament. We've got two bad losses and no key wins. If we beat UAB again, get to the finals and lose ... maybe ... hopefully, they will consider us over them. It's in our hands.

You don't meet many 5-year-olds who are not interested in a hedgehog or a stickleback.
