With our scene, egos got in the way, and that's always the saddest part about it. There's just that invisible hump that kept bands from taking off.

The saddest thing in this world is not being able to help when needed. More egocentrically, not being able to rely on yourself and having no one, or being treated like a useless animal.

Even though we want huge individual egos, our collective ego is unbelievable.
