With the club open nice and early, parents can still work and keep to their schedules and know their kids are in a safe, secure environment. And they know that their kids are doing safe and productive stuff while they're not in school.

It's important to keep kids in a safe secure environment year round. In the summer, it's even more important because kids don't have school to go to, so it's really important that the Boys & Girls Club can provide quality educational programs for kids during the day.

They do something one day each week that can help them get a summer job later on. (Teen Challenge) is something that will give them valuable resources. No only do they have fun but they gain experience through the program as well.

We get a lot of families that come in together. A lot of parents take off work when their kids are off.

It's such a perfect opportunity for parents to work with their kids on a financial spending plan to talk about what's important. With a little bit of planning, the money part of (prom) should not be what you remember most.

As parents we wanted to show our kids how this process needs to work, to be citizens, to not stand by. We fundamentally believe, as Christians, that everyone is equal.
