If he was not taken seriously, all of the hours he spent on the radio would be meaningless. The public is not going to fall for a show business personality that doesn't have the political acumen.

When you get someone in a position like that where he is deliberately using his own initiative to alter the words of very experienced scientists, that is clearly going beyond the bounds of ethics, and certainly going beyond the bounds of his job description.

This isn't O.J. Simpson. There's no murder, no blood on anyone's hands. This has all been played out in the press, and now we're at the denouement, and it's pretty dull.

I think there is a fatigue factor, no doubt about that. Everybody is waiting for things to heat up. What constitutes heating up, I don't know, except for the testimony of the two individuals perhaps. You can't hide the fact that all the details have come out over the last three years. There is nothing new. These guys have been hammered. People think they know what they need to know to have an opinion.
