Woody was great, ... He did a terrific job. He was getting up there in pitches. He had good command, even though he logged some pitches. He was just missing.

Woody has been pitching better than Brian. We'll talk about it.

He has gotten in the groove where he's comfortable out there and making all those pitches. He has helped this rotation, and I can't say enough about the job he has done.

The thing about Woody is, he can handle it. He'll deal with it better than a younger guy. He knows he'll go out without his best stuff occasionally and put it behind him.

It's a credit to him that he didn't try to overthrow and did a great job of staying within himself. I think he understood that it was important that he be careful, and he was. So Jake can draw on that.

It's fair to say we're disappointed we haven't done a better job of getting some more wins and widening the gap. I'm sure other teams would say the same thing, [that] they're disappointed they haven't won more and closed the gap.
