Writing a main character is very important to me. Because each time I create one, it feels like another piece of me in a different world.

Writing is about freedom. It may become precious and fleeting at any time. Don't let anybody shackle down your wings with doubt.

Letting go looks different for everyone, I think. Sometimes it's as simple as waking up one day and deciding not to let your past rule you. Other times it's a process; slow moving and painful, like trudging through a forest of thorny vines in hopes that you'll find freedom on the other side.

A writer may not know the way at first; but if he endeavors to complete his task, he carves a path with his story, a knowledge shortcut.
