Writing is a good excuse to think...

One of my favorite activities is to participate in open and honest discussions with caring, daring, and sharing individuals - from various perspectives and contexts - finding ways to understand issues, conflicts, and gaps in the educative experience.

Another favorite activity is realizing moments in my past when I unlearned something that changed the way that I behaved going forward.

I've learned a great many things through lectures...but it's not the only way I learn.

A flipped classroom mindset needs to embrace the complexity of intentional and incidental learning from ideational, material, and social perspectives so that decisions about content, process, and product can form a more educative experience for each learner.
