You are the trembling of time, that passes
between vertical light and darkened sky,

Naked you are blue like the night in Cuba,
you have vines and stars in your hair,

I crown you, small monarch of my bones,

As if you were on fire from within.

The moon lives in the lining of your skin.

You, in bloom, heart, beloved,
you are like the foliage of the sky over my eyes
