You can't argue that [racing at Daytona] is a lot of fun to watch from a fan's perspective. It's close racing and you're on the edge of your seat every single lap.

I know when Jamie McMurray puts his helmet on, he's going to drive as hard as he can whether he'll be there next year or not, ... He's going to do his job. It's just the chemistry is not going to be there if you know a driver would just as soon move on.

A lot of people tune in for the wrecks, no doubt about that.

It has been a lot more fun racing since those guys got into it. It's made better racers out of all of us.

I raced everything I could. I raced a lot, I wrecked a lot. At 45-years-old racing wasn't fun anymore, this is fun. I had a ball.
