You can't give a team like Bellaire any extra possessions with turnovers. We gave them the ball twice deep in our end on fumbles and then threw two picks for touchdowns.

Money doesn't mean anything because the value of it can be reduced instantly and it's gone. Possessions don't mean anything because they can be stolen. But time--there's nothing else of such value that I can see and there's never enough of it.

That lead disappeared in a hurry, didn't it? We got a couple of key possessions, and managed to get the lead back pretty quickly.

They can really score and because they can really score, you've got to maximize your own possessions.

The first three or four possessions were bad; we took some bad shots and turned the ball over. They made a run on us and we just couldn't recover. We lacked some offensive intensity, or guidance, or whatever you want to call it. We got in a hole in the third quarter, and that hurt us.
