You can't have rock and roll without drugs, you can't have rock and roll without sex.

Chasing the sensation. Whether it was drugs or sex or whatever. Those things had become my main focus in life.

Where I live, nobody who's fourteen is having sex and doing major drugs. And I think if you see it in the movies, you may be influenced by it. I think it's so important to preserve your innocence.

Don't do drugs, don't have unprotected sex, don't be violent... leave that to me

It is not primarily the sex/booze/drugs that surround this event, as problematic as they might be; it is rather the flaunting of affluence, assuming exaggerated expenses, a pursuit of vanity for vanity's sake - in a word, financial decadence.
