You could say it's an accident that I was ideally suited for the work I am doing. It's the feeling of a bow string being pulled back for 22 years and suddenly being let go...

It's like gambling somehow. You go out for a night of drinking and you don't know where your going to end up the next day. It could work out good or it could be disastrous. It's like the throw of the dice.

It's been a tough year, ... but we're going to make this thing work.

We are all very committed to helping this [program] work and also studying it this first year and seeing what we need to do for its subsequent years...programs like this evolve.

There are things known and things unknown and in between are the doors.
