You don't hear as much about the very many who come back who are seriously wounded and permanently scarred. Our attitude should be: 'Anything you need, you've got it, buddy.

We smile with pain in our hearts. We walk with blisters on our feet. We think scarred with the memories of our past. We slowly waste away each day as we live in this world so wounded.
