You don't wait until you show up on the first day (of middle school) and expect someone's going to tell you what to do.

I understand the need for a countywide plan. But is there a larger cost up the road rather than just a one-time cost. I'm concerned $30,000 is only the beginning.

Noise is a real issue. This is kind of like putting a mini-convention center and dropping it in the middle of a residential area.

It's too big of a challenge to say that there's one thing (lacking) and if we just did that, it would fix it.

I absolutely believe they should have recess. I'm a liaison for the school, and I'm the one who's advocating for recess.

The idea is to have a dedicated funding source for at least 10 years so the school system knows what its capital funding from the city will be and can plan accordingly.
