You get like a crazy person. I worked on the butterfly garden at Lenoir Nature Center and I'm not about to let this vine ruin my butterfly garden.

Any native species — a stand of milkweed — Porcelain-berry comes along and kills it. It's like kudzu in the South. You can't just have one plant taking over an area — period.

What humbugs we are, who pretend to live for Beauty, and never see the Dawn!

He stood staring into the wood for a minute, then said: "What is it about the English countryside — why is the beauty so much more than visual? Why does it touch one so?"
