You have opened your eyes to the gift of a new day. Thank God, Providence, Nature or whatever you believe is the cause of this daily miracle

Thankfulness creates gratitude which generates contentment that causes peace.

Looking back on the last year. How much has the world given me? How little have I given to the world? How can I claim the world owes me anything?

Think "how many people have made a contribution to my abundance today?"

Be thankful for your allotment in an imperfect world.  Though better circumstances can be imagined, far worse are nearer misses than you probably care to realize.

Today, as the recipient of riches beyond measure, stop, notice and realise how little you lack.
