You have the kids' trust and they know what is expected of them.

The buzz word is differentiation. It really is about teaching to a child's needs.

That second year is the best. You don't have a group of new faces. You already know their learning styles, their strengths and weaknesses. You can see where they've grown and where they need more help. You already know their parents and they know you.

I would trust him with all my kids.

I'd trust my own kids with Downing, and I'm sure Andy is going to do great things at UNC. All three of our players going there are going to do well.

It's a great bunch of kids with some great hearts. That's why I'm doing this. They've taught me so much. Sure they give me a few gray hairs and probably some heartburn, but they also keep me young inside.
